About NodaTools

NodaTools is an independent review site covering AI tools across writing, coding, video, image, audio, and productivity. It launched in 2025 and is run by a single editor — me — with the goal of giving readers reviews that read like a knowledgeable friend giving real advice, not a press release.

Who runs this site

I'm an indie developer who has been building AI products since 2023, including noda.pics, an open-source AI image generation site. NodaTools started as a way to track which AI tools I actually use, then it became a public site because I noticed the existing review sites were either content farms or barely-updated affiliate dumps.

How reviews are written

• Every tool is used hands-on for at least a few hours before it gets a review.
• Pricing, model versions, and feature claims are checked against the vendor's docs at the time of writing.
• Comparisons cite specific numbers — generation time, free-tier limits, output dimensions — not vague adjectives.
• Trending picks are surfaced from real Google Trends rising-query data, not affiliate payouts.
• If something stops being good, the review gets updated or pulled.

Editorial independence

No tool pays to be reviewed or to be ranked higher. If a review contains affiliate links, they are disclosed on the page (see our disclaimer). Removing a tool from the site is not for sale.
